Lumber Hernia (Grynfelt Type)

Abstract
Lumbar hernias are rare, about 300 cases reported in the world, but in our country, nothing has been found in the literature up to date. Lumbar hernia may occur anywhere in the lumbar region which is bounded, above by 12th rib, below by crest of ilium, in front by a line drawn vertically downward from the anterior axillary line of 12th rib to the iliac crest and behind by vertebral column and erector spine muscles. It is classified as the superior and inferior triangles, with the former being more frequent.
We were treated a case of grynfelt hernia, reported with literature review.
